The folks at NYU Shanghai were nice enough to include our work on macroscopic teleportation on the news page. Thanks!
This is a follow up to our previous work on the same topic. We extended our method to teleport an arbitrary spin coherent state on the Bloch sphere.
We have finally uploaded our entry to the quantum video competition “Quantum Shorts”!
http://shorts2014.quantumlah.org/entry/bec-bose-einstein-comedy
Its called “BEC: A Bose-Einstein Comedy” and I cannot imagine not coming first with our amazing talents in acting and filming. But just to make sure, vote for us!
Our review on exciton-polariton condensates is now published in Nature Physics. It covers the basics and discusses some of the major issues such as the laser/BEC distinction, superfluidity, novel quantum phases, and applications to new technologies.
WIRED published an article on our research, using Bose-Einstein condensates for quantum information

As of January 2015, we will be moving to New York University (NYU), at their Shanghai campus (http://shanghai.nyu.edu/en)!
Apart from the change in location, I plan to keep what we have been doing at NII, in the form of internships in quantum information related topics. If you have interest in doing an internship, […]
2chan (2ちゃんねる), the original Japanese version of 4 chan, has a thread about our macroscopic teleportation work. As you would expect it is very highbrow discussion… but pleasing to see no negative comments (possibly with the exception of the one below) at all, I am impressed.
The Chinese new site Laoyaoba has an article on our work on macroscopic teleportation. See the full story here 量子隐形传态新技术:让物体“瞬间移动”成为可能? – 老杳吧微信号_jiweinet
This looks to be the same article as that in China Nikkei Technology but we don’t have access to that one!
Kagaku Shinbun 科学新聞 (Science News) had an article on page 1 on our work on macroscopic teleportation. The full pdf of the article is here: 20140711_科学新聞(TimByrnes先生)
